There were people who were applying to Stanford with 5.0s in their junior year and were concertmaster of their orchestra, and they were still rejected. Message to all juniors: everyone is exceptional, most get rejected. Don't get your hopes up about getting into HYPSM, because only 1 or 2 people get in to those schools in one admission...
